The CORINOX COR 800 flat file is a three-sided hand file from the PFERD Tools range of precision files. Its surface hardness of 1,200 HV gives it extreme resistance to wear and impact, even on materials known to be difficult to file: stainless steel (V2A, V4A), heat-resistant steels, exotic alloys, hard non-ferrous metals and fibre-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP, CFRP).

 

The precision geometry of the cutting edge ensures superior dimensional accuracy compared to conventional workshop files. The cross-cut design facilitates rough precision machining. Chips do not become lodged in the cutting edges and can be removed by simply tapping, without the need for additional tools. Available in three lengths and several Swiss sizes, it is suitable for a wide range of tasks: rounding, chamfering, deburring, surface machining and finishing.
