The FS series of fibre discs in the Corundum A grade from Pferd Tools comprises high-performance abrasives for coarse to fine grinding on a wide variety of materials. Available in various diameters and grit sizes, these fibre discs are ideally suited to all stages of surface finishing. The Korund A abrasive grain and the flexible disc structure ensure high material removal rates and a uniform finish – on both flat and contoured surfaces.

 

Features:

The FS fibre discs from Pferd Tools are designed for grinding processes ranging from rough grinding to fine finishing. The Korund A (aluminium oxide) used is characterised by high hardness and wear resistance, ensuring a long service life. The wide range of grit sizes allows the grinding performance to be precisely adjusted according to the desired surface finish.

The robust fibre backing structure offers high flexibility and facilitates adaptation to complex workpiece geometries. In combination with the appropriate backing pad, the grinding disc adapts perfectly to the surface and ensures a constant contact pressure. The result is a uniform grinding finish – even on uneven or contoured surfaces.

The product range includes variants with and without a slot. The required backing plates must be ordered separately.
