Miniature ball bearings are single-row deep groove ball bearings with a bore diameter of up to 10 mm. Single-row deep groove ball bearings are extremely versatile. They are simple in design, suitable for high to very high speeds, very robust and thus low-maintenance. Thanks to the deep grooves and the close contact between the grooves and the balls, deep groove ball bearings can tolerate both radial loads and axial loads in both directions, even at high speeds. Precision miniature ball bearings are particularly suitable for small electric motors and gearboxes, office machinery, medical equipment, mechatronic applications etc. Miniature ball bearings with a flange can simplify the installation technically, as the bearings can be inserted into the housing in the axial direction. This saves time and space. Both open (unsealed) and sealed versions are available. All bearings are also available in stainless steel (supplement VA). The load rating of a VA bearing is approximately 15% lower than that of the equivalent bearing made from chrome steel. Bearings sealed on both sides have lifetime lubrication and therefore need not be regreased during use. They have been filled with the exact quantity of high-quality lubricant under controlled conditions.

Bearing with cover plates 2Z:
The cover plates, manufactured from sheet steel, are primarily suited to applications where the i-race of the bearing rotates. There is a sealing gap between the outer edge of the plate and the i-race. The clearance between the cover plate and the i-race is designed in such a way that no contact can be made, even if the bearing exhibits a large amount of radial play. To prevent corrosion, the cover plates are galvanized.

Deep Groove Ball Bearing. A non-seperable single row ball bearing with deep raceway grooves and shields on both sides. Suitable for running at high speeds and can accommodate axial loads in both directions, in addition to radial loads, due to the close conformity between the raceway grooves and balls.
