The new design with optibelt RED POWER 3 kraftbands enables a space-saving and cost-effective construction thanks to a reduced number of kraftbands and the associated lower axle and bearing loads. Its multiple service life and significantly reduced maintenance requirements make the optibelt RED POWER 3 kraftbands a problem solver in overloaded drives with conventional kraftbands. Cost savings of up to 35 % are possible thanks to lower maintenance costs and a reduced need for replacement due to fewer belts and smaller pulleys. Conventional kraftbands have to be regularly re-tensioned throughout their service life. The maintenance-free optibelt RED POWER 3 eliminates this additional work and cost. The optibelt RED POWER 3 achieves up to 50 % higher performance than conventional kraftbands. This means that fewer belts are required for power transmission, which enables sustainable cost savings thanks to narrower pulleys. Smaller pulley diameters can be used with the same number of belts.
