One of the most frequent requests from machine manufacturers and builders with production equipment is the creation of smaller components that are easier to use and require less time in terms of installation and maintenance. SMC engineers, world experts in pneumatic automation, have responded perfectly to this expectation with the launch of their ACG / ARG / AWG series, which offers a complete range of regulators and filter regulators with integrated pressure gauge. These series were specially designed with a view to saving space and costs when panel mounting regulators or filter regulator units. The anti-rotation pressure gauge integrated into the adjustable control knob, which makes it unnecessary to install other pressure control systems, is the key feature of this latest-generation compressed-air supply component range. Thanks to their excellent visibility, the ACG/ARG/AWG series can be read clearly and adjusted, even when mounted in hard-to-reach places, for example near the floor or at height. The range indicators, used to set the device performance, can be adjusted easily by removing the pressure gauge protective glass. In addition, as regards the pressure gauge, it is also possible to choose between 4 mounting angles (0º, 90º, 180º and 270º) depending on the position of the ports. Designed for use with air, up to a maximum pressure of 1.0 MPa, and at a temperature between -5 ºC and 60 ºC, these regulators, the result of SMC innovations, have been designed to fit perfectly with SMC's existing range of F.R.L. units.
